Terence Harkin was born in Pittsburgh, PA, grew up on the East Coast and attended Brown University. After four years in the US Air Force, he moved to Los Angeles where he earned an MFA in cinema at USC and spent twenty-five years as a Hollywood cameraman. After a second career teaching English, he has retired to Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he writes, plays drums, and has embarked on learning the intricacies of Thai language and culture. His first novel, The Big Buddha Bicycle Race, has been published by Silkworm Books and is now available at Amazon.com. He is putting the finishing touches on a sequel, The Bronze Begging Bowl, and has a third novel, Tinseltown Two-step, waiting in the wings…
